Policies & Procedures

To register your child, please complete the registration form, sign and turn in on or before the first day of class.

Additionally please review the rules and policies section below.

In order to ensure your child is warmed up properly please arrive on time to your scheduled class.  Students should not arrive more than 10 minutes before their class starts and must be supervised until their class has started. Children who are younger than 5.5 must have a parent on site at all times. Students who are dropped off early and picked up late more than 10 minutes on a regular basis will be charged $20.

Students should wear a leotard or a t-shirt with leggings, sweatpants, or gym shorts.  We do not allow students to wear jeans, skirts, dresses, or pants with zippers, buttons, or snaps out onto the floor.  All students must have bare feet. Gymnastics shoes are optional.

For safety reasons, hair must be pulled back from the face and secured in a ponytail or bun during class times. No jewelry or hats are allowed while participating in class. All street clothes and shoes should be left in the cubbies provided at the entrance to the gym. No street shoes are allowed on the gym floor. Valuables should be left at home. AGC is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Tuition is billed monthly.  Statements are sent out via email on the 20th of each month before tuition is due.  If you choose to cancel please notify us by the 19th of the month prior to the monthly tuition is due otherwise you will be billed for that month.  For example, to cancel for June 2016, we should be notified by May 19th, 2016.  Students whose tuition is more than two months past due will be dropped.

Automatic payment is available. This authorizes AGC to deduct the tuition or any other balance owed to AGC automatically on your credit/debit card on the 1st of the month.  Tuition is due on the 1st of each month and tuition is late and there is a $10 late fee applied to your account after the 7th of the month. If there is a tuition increase you will be notified two months in advance and new rates will be posted at the gym and on our website.

If you do pay with a check and it is returned, a $20 returned check fee will be applied to your account.

An annual membership/insurance charge of $40 will be assessed to each student for secondary insurance and administrative costs.  This is prorated quarterly; $40 January-March, $30 April-June, $20 July-September, $10 October-December.

AGC does not refund or transfer tuition fees. Students are expected to attend their scheduled class. Monthly fees are based upon a four-week calendar month. Some months include five classes and the billing will not be increased, thus billing will not be adjusted for holidays observed.

When a student misses a class, he or she is eligible to do one make-up class per month.  Once the make-up class is scheduled the spot will be held for you no more than one week in advance.  If your child does not attend his/her scheduled make-up class, the class will be forfeited.  The make-up class can only be scheduled after the class is missed, and can only be up to 30 days after the class is missed.  You can only attend a make-up class at the gym you are currently enrolled in.  If you are no longer enrolled in class you cannot do a make-up.  Make up classes are at set times so please schedule them in advance.

Due to insurance restrictions no one is allowed in the training area before class without an instructor. Siblings and friends not enrolled in class must remain outside the training area and must be supervised by an adult. When class is over, gymnasts must leave the training area. The instructors will need to start the next class and therefore cannot supervise them. For the safety of those in class, spectators should keep the noise level as low as possible.  There is also no photography or videotaping allowed unless approved by the office and teacher. This is to protect the privacy of the other students in class.

For safety and hygienic reasons no eating, drinking, smoking, or gum chewing is allowed in or around the training area.
