Rules & Policies
Annual Insurance & Membership
An annual membership and insurance fee of $60 per student is assessed to help cover secondary insurance and administrative costs.
The annual fee is charged based on the calendar year and prorated according to the month in which a student enrolls:
- January–March: $60
- April–June: $45
- July–September: $30
- October–December: $15
The applicable fee is assessed upon enrollment and is subject to AGC's current membership and insurance policies.
Tuition
Tuition is based on a four-week session. Classes are ongoing, and enrollment automatically continues from one session to the next unless you notify AGC in writing, before the start of the next session, that you wish to discontinue enrollment or take a break.
Students are expected to attend their regularly scheduled classes. Tuition statements and payment reminders are sent by email before tuition is due.
Because class space is limited, AGC does not offer refunds, credits, or make-up classes for missed sessions, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly authorized by AGC.
Pick Up & Drop Off
Students should arrive on time and be ready to participate at the scheduled class start time. Students must be picked up promptly at the end of their scheduled class or program.
AGC staff are responsible for supervising students during their scheduled program time and are not available to provide supervision before or after the scheduled program.
Students who are dropped off before their scheduled program start time or picked up after their scheduled dismissal time must be accompanied by an authorized supervising adult.
A 5-minute grace period will be provided for late pickups. After the 5-minute grace period, a $20 late supervision fee will be charged. An additional $20 fee will apply for each subsequent 20-minute period, or portion thereof, that the student remains in our care beyond their scheduled dismissal time.
Students under 5½ years of age must have a parent or designated supervising adult present at the gym at all times.
Gym Floor & Equipment Safety
Students are not permitted on the gym floor or on any equipment until their coach has arrived and class has begun.
Dress Code
Students must wear appropriate athletic clothing that allows unrestricted movement and permits instructors to safely observe body positioning.
Acceptable attire includes:
- Leotards
- T-shirts
- Leggings
- Sweatpants
- Gym shorts
Children's torsos must remain covered while participating.
The following are NOT permitted during class:
- Jeans, skirts, or dresses
- Clothing with zippers, buttons, snaps, or other items that may create a safety concern
- Midriff
- Jewelry or hats
- Shoes on the gymnastics floor
Students should participate barefoot. Socks with grips on the bottom are permitted on the gymnastics floor when specifically approved by AGC staff.
Hair longer than shoulder length must be secured away from the face, preferably in a ponytail, bun, or braid.
Personal belongings and street shoes may be stored in the designated cubbies.
Holidays & Closures
AGC's regular session tuition accounts for scheduled holiday closures. AGC will be closed and tuition will not be charged for the following holidays or holiday periods:
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day.
- Thanksgiving and the following day
- Winter Break, December 24 through January 1
AGC may also close or modify its schedule for other circumstances, including facility issues, emergencies, severe weather, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Injury & Illness
For the safety of the participant and others, students should not participate while experiencing an illness or injury that may make participation unsafe or may pose a risk of transmission to others.
Students who have an injury that affects their ability to safely participate should obtain appropriate medical guidance before returning to gymnastics. If a student is cleared to participate with restrictions or a modified workout, the parent or guardian should provide AGC with the relevant instructions from the student's health care provider.
Students who are experiencing symptoms of an infectious illness or otherwise may be contagious should remain home and follow applicable public-health or medical guidance before returning to class.
AGC may require a student to leave or remain out of class when staff reasonably believe the student is too ill or injured to participate safely or may pose a health or safety concern to others.
Behavior & Conduct
Students are expected to behave respectfully and follow the instructions of AGC instructors and staff.
If a student engages in disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior, AGC may take appropriate steps based on the circumstances, which may include:
- Providing a verbal reminder or warning
- Temporarily removing the student from an activity
- Contacting the parent or guardian
- Asking the student to leave the class or program if the behavior continues or interferes with the safety or effective operation of the class.
AGC does not tolerate bullying, harassment, threats, intimidation, or other behavior that compromises the safety or well-being of students, staff, or families.
AGC reserves the right to take immediate action when behavior presents a safety concern.
Spectator Policy
AGC provides a designated spectator area at the Bayshore location and limited seating at the Judah location.
For safety reasons, spectators must remain in designated areas and may not enter or walk on the gymnastics floor unless authorized by AGC staff.
Parents, please refrain from interfering with the class or coaching from the sidelines. We ask that you leave instruction and corrections to the coaches, who are qualified to provide appropriate guidance and feedback.
For the privacy and safety of all students, parents and spectators may not photograph or record students other than their own child without prior approval from AGC management.
Make-up Policy
Due to limited class availability, AGC does not offer make-up classes, credits, or refunds for missed classes.
Photography & Video
AGC may occasionally take photographs or video recordings of classes, activities, events, or participants for educational, promotional, or advertising purposes.
By enrolling a child in an AGC program, the parent or legal guardian may provide consent for AGC to use photographs or video in which the child appears for AGC's promotional, advertising, website, social media, or other communications.
AGC will make reasonable efforts to respect any applicable photography or media preferences communicated by a parent or guardian.
Food
Eating, drinking, smoking, vaping, and chewing gum are not permitted in the training area or in areas where they may interfere with gymnastics activities or create a safety concern.
Lockers & Personal Belongings
Lockers are provided for daily use only. Lockers are not assigned and should not be used for overnight storage.
Lockers do not have locks, and personal locks may not be placed on AGC lockers. Participants are encouraged to leave valuables and unnecessary personal belongings at home.
AGC is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal property.
Loading Zone
The white zone in front of our building is for pick-up and drop-off only. Please do not park or leave your vehicle unattended in this area, as it prevents other families from using the zone and may result in a ticket or tow.

AGC may update its Rules & Policies from time to time to reflect changes in operations, safety practices, applicable requirements, or other circumstances. Updated policies will be published on the AGC website and will become effective as specified in the updated policy.
