Registration, Rules & Policies

To register your child, please complete the registration form, sign and turn in on or before the first day of class.   Additionally please review the rules and policies section below.

 

RULES & POLICIES


WARM-UP

In order to ensure your child is warmed up properly please arrive on time to your scheduled class.  Children should be dropped off no more than ten minutes early and picked up immediately after class. Students who are picked up more than 15 minutes late on a regular basis will be charged an hourly rate of $10.
 

DRESS CODE

Girls should wear a leotard or if they prefer a t-shirt with leggings, sweatpants, or gym shorts.  Boys are required to wear gym shorts or sweatpants and a t-shirt.  Jeans or pants with zippers, buttons, or snaps are not allowed.  All students must have bare feet. Gymnastics shoes are optional.

For safety reasons, hair must be pulled back from the face and secured in a ponytail or bun during class times. No jewelry is allowed while participating in class. All street clothes and shoes should be left in the cubbies provided at the entrance to the gym. No street shoes are allowed on the gym floor. Valuables should be left at home. AGC is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

 

E-BILLS & PAYMENTS

Monthly statements are sent out via email on the 20th of each month.  This will indicate the amount of tuition due based on child's enrollment in class. Payment is due by the first week of the month.  After the 7th a $10 late fee will be applied. A $15 service charge will be applied to all returned checks.

 
ANNUAL INSURANCE & REGISTRATION

An annual insurance & registration charge of $40 will be assessed to each student for secondary insurance and administrative costs.


TUITION

AGC does not refund or transfer tuition fees. Students are expected to attend their scheduled class. Monthly fees are based upon a four-week calendar month. Some months include five classes and the billing will not be increased, thus billing will not be adjusted for holidays observed.

 

MAKE-UP CLASSES

When a student misses a class he or she is eligible to do one make-up class per month. Make-up classes must be scheduled with the office in advance and are allowed only during the scheduled make-up class times: Wednesday 12pm-1pm for children 5 years and younger; Saturdays at 1pm for children 5 years and older.

 

HOLIDAYS

There are no make-ups for Holidays. They are fixed into the monthly tuition. Scheduled holidays are:  

        •  Thanksgiving Day and the day after

        •  December 24 - January 1

        •  Independence Day

        •  Labor Day

        •  Memorial Day

 

WRITTEN NOTICE TO DISCONTINUE

Tuition will be charged until the office is notified in writing of the intention to discontinue. Notification must reach the office before the first of the month to avoid charges for that month. Students who wish to take an extended leave of absence must pay in full if they wish to retain a spot in class. Space in class cannot be guaranteed.


BEHAVIOR

Good behavior must be shown at all times. Students displaying disorderly conduct before or during class will be asked to sit out of the class.

 
SPECTATOR POLICY

Due to insurance restrictions and for the safety of your child, no one is allowed in the training area before class without an instructor. Siblings and friends not enrolled in class must remain outside the training area during class times (even those supervised by a parent). When class is over, gymnasts must leave the training area. The instructors will need to start the next class and therefore cannot supervise them. For the safety of those in class, spectators should keep the noise level as low as possible.
 

FOOD

For safety and hygienic reasons no eating, drinking, smoking, or gum chewing is allowed in or around the training area.
