When a student misses a class he or she is eligible to do one make-up class per month. Make-up classes must be scheduled with the office in advance and are allowed only during the scheduled make-up class times: Monday 1pm-2pm and Wednesday 11am-1pm for children 5 years and younger; Saturdays at 1pm for children 5 years and older.

•  December 24 – January 1

WRITTEN NOTICE TO DISCONTINUE

Tuition will be charged until the office is notified in writing of the intention to discontinue. Notification must reach the office before the first of the month to avoid charges for that month. Students who wish to take an extended leave of absence must pay in full if they wish to retain a spot in class. Space in class cannot be guaranteed.

WARM-UP

For your child's safety, please arrive on time. The warm-up is a very important part of your child's class and is required for safety reasons. Students arriving ten or more minutes late will not be allowed to participate in class. However, if space permits your child can join the next scheduled warm-up, and then join the class in progress.

Children should be dropped off no more than ten minutes early and picked up immediately after class. Students who are picked up more than 15 minutes late on a regular basis will be charged an hourly rate of $10.

DRESS CODE

Appearance must be neat and clean. Girls are required to wear one-piece leotards without skirts. Shorts, leggings, or sweatpants are optional. Boys are required to wear shorts and tucked-in t-shirts. All students must have bare feet. Gymnastics shoes are optional.

For safety reasons, hair must be pulled back from the face and secured in a ponytail or bun during class times. No jewelry is allowed while participating in class. All street clothes and shoes should be left in the cubbies provided at the entrance to the gym. No street shoes are allowed on the gym floor. Valuables should be left at home. AGC is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

BEHAVIOR

Good behavior must be shown at all times. Students displaying disorderly conduct before or during class will be asked to sit out the class.

SPECTATOR POLICY

Due to insurance restrictions and for the safety of your child, no one is allowed in the training area before class without an instructor. Siblings and friends not enrolled in class must remain outside the training area during class times (even those supervised by a parent). When class is over, gymnasts must leave the training area. The instructors will need to start the next class and therefore cannot supervise them. For the safety of those in class, spectators should keep the noise level as low as possible.

FOOD

For safety and hygienic reasons no eating, drinking, smoking, or gum chewing is allowed in or around the training area.
